I had been longing to visit Clematis Falls, so I chose to stay at Grampians Pioneer Cottages solely for its location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the cottages' ability to help me truly relax and enjoy my stay. The garden with a barbecue provided a perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature. the dining table and chairs, originating from a historic church built in 1865, added a unique charm to the accommodations.
A coffee machine and a few board games would be wonderful, as would be the option to purchase a breakfast hamper so we wouldn't have to take as many things from home. Two more chairs on the verandah would also be nice.

Cosy and rustic cottages with a nice fireplace and beautiful scenery. Loved waking up to kangaroos and local birds. Family-friendly with activities like collecting eggs from the chicken shed.
Limited kitchen supplies and not enough chairs outside for a cottage that sleeps 8. Had a issue with hot water running out one evening.

I had the most incredible weekend away at Grampians Pioneer Cottages. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains. And the best part? Kangaroos were hopping around just nearby! It felt like being in the middle of nature and I couldn't get enough of it. The cottage itself was cozy and rustic, with a fireplace that allowed us to enjoy a warm and intimate atmosphere. Everything was well equipped and clean, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I also appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings, allowing me to truly disconnect from the outside world. The absence of Wi-Fi was actually a blessing in disguise. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

The cabin was immaculate, cozy, and wonderfully refreshing. The real highlight, though, was the breathtaking location! Kangaroos, emus, and even deer were hopping and grazing right outside our window, all with the stunning backdrop of the Grampians. It was so peaceful and serene, a true escape from the hustle and bustle. We even cut our walk short just to sit on the porch, sip some wine, and soak in the wildlife and scenery. The best part? The friendly hosts and the fact that everything we needed was provided in the cabin, from the free wi-fi to the flat-screen TV and cookware. We can't wait to come back again!

The loft bedroom was amazing! It felt so spacious and cozy, perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. We had everything we needed, from cutlery to cooking utensils.
Personally, I didn't love the terrace. It just wasn't my thing, but some people might enjoy it.

Clean, comfortable, and lovely cabin with a super cool vibe. Jaw-droppingly incredible location with kangaroos, emus, deer, parakeets, and parrots all around. Peaceful and traffic-free environment perfect for wine-sipping on the porch while watching wildlife. Very friendly owners, close to the zoo and Halls Gap. Amazingly peaceful yet just minutes away from the town. Very clean cottage with interesting reclaimed materials used. Lots of friendly chickens. Suitable for those with mobility restrictions. A great family holiday spot with spacious cottages and shared BBQ space with a mind-blowing view. Short drive to hiking trails in the Grampians. We'd definitely come again!
